I’ll often spend weeks just drawing, developing ideas for paintings. I get to a place where I don’t want to stop – just skip the paint and draw forever! But the painting does begin. And then I follow the same path, now enveloped in color, one idea...
One drawing leads to another drawing… Which leads to the painting and the print,…inspiring more drawing!
It’s extremely hot, extremely cold, and wildly windy.It’s also quiet – no one’s around, and spacious like the ocean.I LOVE the extremes. They keep me unsettled and awake.
